So happy for you, Victor! Yes, it is quite the learning curve (in every area of law) but you can do it. Keep good notes that you can refer to over and over again. Hi Sandra - Research what your state’s paralegal regulations are. What are the requirements to get into this career? Most allow you to get in with just a high school diploma but some may require a higher education. Next, research on Google what the paralegal duties are in various areas of law. Finally, binge watch a lot of my videos and take notes! - Leslie :)

Hello thank you for videos. I’m a first year paralegal student in Wa State. It’s a 2 year program only. I have no experience in legal fields yet. Immigration law is the only law I’m interested. Is 2yr degree enough? Thank you

The only state so far that I'm aware requiring a degree is California, however, you need to do a little research yourself regarding this. Most of the other 49 states allow people to enter into the legal field without degrees, except a high school diploma. Just be aware of your state's requirements.

I truly wish I could help, however, how an entry-level Paralegal enters the field can be quite different here in THE US. We can enter with "0" education or obtain a 2 year or Paralegal certificate.

Most US workplaces do not, unfortunately. That's one of the reasons I do these videos, offer workshops & classes. You have to learn so much on your own and on the job. The attorneys and staff members simply do not have the time to run a school onsite. - Leslie :)
