One thing I am not clear about Foia request, when I submitted the request online, it pop out with a notification saying that I have to "register the case" with case number and Pin number, or it won't appear in my work space. Do we have to do that, the case number and pin number will be sent by mail to us? And how long Uscis will send us the submit confirmation email? Looking forward to your reply, thanks! I submitted an application and fairly quickly received "The Alien Number you provided does not belong to your client. We have completed a search of Person-Centric Identity Services (PCIS). No records responsive to your request were located. If you have reason to believe that responsive records do exist, and you can provide us with additional information, we will conduct another search. " Note I did this for myself, not as someone for a client. It's possible that I mistyped the A number but don't think so, in any case I just tried again and will see. If this also fails does it mean something else doesn't match, such as parents' names or something?

Hello I need ur help. My fiancé had his interview n his case was sent back to USCIS for review. Then we received a letter 5 months after stating that his case was terminated due to time expiration. They never told us why his case was sent back and when I call USCIS they tell me they don’t have access to that information. I want to file a FOIA. What r the files that I must request in order to see why his case was returned and then terminated?

This is really only something I would look at as a paid matter. It’s not possible to solve this in any meaningful way through a comments section. You have, in short, a difficult situation that may take many months (possibly years) to resolve. But yes, it’s time to get paid help. I would find a law office that’s near where you live.

Quick question, i just filled my FOIA form request online, Can I still get my FOIA information even though I didn't fill out the part where they ask for A-number of my green card? I do have a green card but I couldn't at the time of filling it out
