Hey thanks Lynda! I will be, of course, still around Grimsby for a while because of the likes of Holton le Clay and Tetney and Marshchapel etc, in East Lindsey...so there's more to come up your way yet! Then Louth and Mablethorpe will get me, I hope they're ready :P

Excellent video Andy, this brought back a lot of memories, we lived in Immingham for nearly fifteen years. A lot has changed since we lived there of course, it amazes me how you so always sound as if you know everywhere like the back of your hand. Keep up the good work!

I came to Immingham for the port's centenary (which was an early birthday present for me) and had a brief look in the town after that. Now I knew a bit about the town on how it expanded when the railways arrived, but didn't quite know as much outside that. This was an excellent video (as always) and you are great at providing history and facts about these CP's, some I knew about but others I didn't!👍😇

The church has a gargoyle that is showing his bottom, pointing in the direction of nearby Killingholme. The story goes that the people of Immingham helped those of Killingholme build their church, but the favour wasn't returned when building St Andrews, so the gargoyle was used as an insult to the people of Killingholme.
