It's crazy how well they make some of these weird rhythms work in the game. It flows perfectly in game because the rhythm matches your gameplay. It'll slightly go offbeat sometimes to pressure you and make you never feel safe without ruining your flow.

Part of the reason i love this and Gordon's music is because it's literally how I played my bass back when I was in a band, just absolutely disgusting amounts of distortion and rhythm, swapping between pick and finger in the lowest tuning. That sound is my jam, and I love it combined with these super fast, intermittent picking riffs , that's so fun to do, if you can pick that fast at least lol bassists can use our fingers a bit easier than guitarists in that regard
