5:12 sounds almost similar to the 70s Hulk show which I found really cool heck it was definitely a nod to that old show that Al Ewing even introduced that character Jackie McGee an obvious nod to that series tht I really loved honestly. But then as the book progresses it goes into the bigger overall story

Man I don’t know if it’s just my copy but even after stretching the spine several time, my Immortal Hulk omnibus has several binding issues, especially towards the very beginning and the very end of the book

Might not just be yours, I've seen other people mention similar issues, but yeah obviously very frustrating. So far mine is doing alright so fingers crossed it stays that way

Great review and what a fantastic run this is!! I pre-ordered it and I got it earlier today, it's a huge book (standard cover). Your books are always in very good condition without any external damage Where do you purchase your omnibuses? I'm living in Sweden and most often go for Comics Bugle.

I usually get them from Forbidden Planet or Speedyhen in the UK, and they've both always been good with packaging

They are, all 50 issues of Immortal Hulk are in it

The little stories at the start I really liked. Horror and a little pulp like. The longer story was OK with a big dip in the middle, I thought. The end with the leader was pretty strong. I really wasn't a fan of the body horror aspects of the book at all. Once or twice for some shock is fine. But long term is not how I like my characters.

I get what you mean, as I said I know it's not going to be for everyone, but I enjoyed the whole thing all the way through, it took some great twists and turns and I was happy to be along for the ride!

@TheComicBookTrove yep I thinkninwas engaged the whole time. It was a good ride and the start and the end were really good. In the end I decided to sell my deluxe copies and not get the omni limited space and funds mean this got the chop as I don't think I'll read it again.
