BEN HUR easy religion isn't the only way to be a good person. As early people were starting to form society it's not hard to believe they determined killing each other for no reason was a bad idea. Plus religion is just somebody claiming "God/Gods" told them to tell you this set of rules. Not hard to believe somebody came up with a set of generally good rules to live by then used the fear of the unknown to enforce following it.

I'm a Christian and I have read the bible Four times and have studied it on a continuous basis, and I can attest that a lot of what Immortal said was accurate. Jesus said the two greatest commandments was to love God with your heart, soul, and mind and to love your neighbor as yourself. He also said, don't store up for yourselves treasures on earth where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal. He went on to say, where your treasures are your heart will be also. There was another instance where Jesus told a rich man to give everything away to the poor and follow him, but the man couldn't or wouldn't do it because valued his possessions so much. Jesus literally whipped religious leaders with a weapon because they were making money in the temple. He said it was written that my Fathers house will be called a house of prayer, but you have turned it into a den of thieves. I can give many more examples, but I just wanted to confirm what Immortal was saying scripturally. I don't share all of his perspectives, but I'm speaking about what he saying about people using religion to exploit people financially; what he was saying about not just saying your a christian but embodying it; and what he said about empathizing with the down trodden and the oppressed without judgement, but compassion.

You can't even agree with all the teachings in your own book, yet you support the institution anyway in spite of this. The reason many christians are so closed-minded is because they adhere to a book that's just plain false, repeatedly self-contradictory and ridiculously immoral in numerous instances, esp in the OT. I would know because I was a christian for many years myself, and upon further study of religion and philosophy, I was able to reluctantly conclude that christianity makes ZERO sense and is incompatible with reality.

Although I do share plenty of the same ideas as Imortal Tech in this interview, Dr.Creflo Dollar is NOT a hustler and his Church does a host of things in their community and all over the U.S. As well as the globe. There is a lot I can go into but I'll keep it short. Also for us Christian's who do truly attempt to live a life that follows Christ, PLEASE do not generalize and group us with the people who have all but ruined our faith. I know this was 3 years ago and maybe he doesn't know this, but, Creflo and World Changers Church actually have a lot of community involvement in Atlanta and especially with people who have been in prison before, they have programs set up for them to get them back on their own feet.

i had a conversation with coworkers on some of these subjects, mainly the seperation of church and state. also, flase morals dictating the current political atmosphere in the nation. the same false morals are starting to affect some of my cowrkers to the point where id rather just keep my mouth shut because its not what they "believe" is gods will. i believe in God, i also believe that above my government, race, religion or sexual orientation, people matter more than those lables. what drove me mad was the hypocrisy of it all. some peoe will never see the world outside of the box they live in. maybe its insecurity, fear or just plain stupidity, i dont know.
