It’s amazing to see Tech given so much of his due. Revolutionary 1 and 2 got me into hip hop and let me explore all the sub genres as a teen in early 2000s. It’s incredible that he essentially has 3 albums that established him as a rapper and used that as a platform to do everything his music was about and did it in a ground level. Dude was ahead decades before and is still as important as ever to speak

True story, I was in high school and a friend let me borrow his iPod for a couple weeks, dance with the devil was one of the songs already downloaded, one day I was on the bus heading home and I had the iPod on shuffle. This song started playing and as the song played I became more and more intrigued. I paid attention to every verse/word and I can honestly say it made me think twice about entering that world. Straight and narrow for me, I couldn’t live with myself.
