During a transfusion, they use somebody else’s blood, now they give you antibiotics just in case before the transfusion so when you get it done, you’ll be able to fight off any diseases. But back them in the 90s they had bad testing , so the blood they used might have had aids or her body rejected it. I have had a transfusion before, and it’s painful but, they try to be very careful now a days.
