The Egyptians believed Pharaoh to be a god on earth who after his death would fly up to heaven and unite with the sun, his father. After the collapse of the Old Kingdom, this idea of royal immortality became accessible for non-royal persons but dependent on justification before a divine tribunal, the judgment of the dead. fell asleep listening to this, had a very odd nightmare. i was a kid in a family in maybe the 50s, i had a sister and parents in the little pomd based neighborhood, i the boy had an rc plane that i could literally fly in, i flew all over the little town is was amazing, i was flying around w other rc planes above the water and then i think i crashed/landed at my home w my family watching me soar from the front porch. it was the most exciting things ive ever dreamt. to be able to feel yourself fly like that. i was having the time of my life. then it turns night and nightmare-ish. apparently in the house my family lives there was a family who struggled severely to feed their maybe 14 children or so and the father lost it and apparently killed them all and ate them but they were still alive there. sort of. we were talking in the driveway w the garage open after i had landed and all of a sudden the back of the garage just dissolved and my little sister took off through the opening. she was chasing this tree thats roots had become appendigis and it was morbidly crawling/moving/running down the hill of the back of the garage. i. hased after her until i saw what she was chasing. is was all the left over body parts that had been buried undernieght a tree. i fell to the ground as i tried to run back bc i could see all the eyes of the children glowing white, as they stood in a line galing into my soul, i climbed up into the house were it went completely black and i was consumed w this void and i could see flashes of the father eating and ripping away at the flesh, along w a photo of the whole family. after ig rolling around in this void for maybe 7 secounds i was put into a standing up position with all the children and their glowing eyes circling me, then i woke up and i had only been asleep for maybe an hour, drool on face and hand. brainfogged i pinched myself to see if i was maybe in a dream in a dream like ive had many times before.

It's a collection of thoughts that are conjured and projected from person who knows the secrets of the compartmentalized perception we have been living. This virtual imagination is made up of the energy and frequencies of collected information. The information is the perception. It's not real. The fear or death is a perception that has been tricking us by the ones who hold secrets and use them to gain an advantage over us. Alright, I like his research, its extensive and of depth, but he presents his theories and ideas as conclusions anyone would naturally come to when they are not. They are clearly motivated and have an agenda. One is to downplay spirituality in general by referring to their spiritual beliefs as a dream while simultaneously calling them just reflections of "political ideas". The 2nd is more specifically towards Christians(wich i am NOT btw to be clear), and although more subtle , is to say something like, silly Christians got the idea of heaven from ppl who didn't even believe in heaven in that way. Now what exactly is the fuel to these i don't know and id even give him benefit of the doubt and call it unconscious bias, but he asserts these things without giving one source text to directly support his main idea, but rather texts which are maybe debatable evidence supporting his supportive ideas Ie poems that read more as uncertainty, sorrow, shame, or even humility towards their gods, rather than definitive statements. The complexity and specificity of the authoritative ancient egyptian texts, symbols, terms, works of beautifully detailed wall art, and very precise gigantic stone sculptures all point to them taking this very literally from its conception up to their practice. There is tremendous evidence they truly did these complicated spells over mummys, and for 100s of years without break. Obviously you can find examples of their skepticism about afterlife in poetry and other writings, there uh HUMAN lol we find uncertainty about the afterlife everywhere in every time period, but that does not mean it was some loosely heald belief. I mean cmon, on one hand he downplays the afterlifes roll in their belief system and on the other hand subtly presenting them as primitive people with silly unsophisticated ideas. Saying things like "they believed" only royalty had the "privilege" of heaven. No. To reflect their ideas accurately youd word it as "they believed you had to be of the highest virtue to be Pharoah or Ruler, and based on their belief of the afterlife via certain psychedelic and ritualistic experiences involving sense deprivation and other mystical practices, the only person virtuous enough to be in the presence of the gods would have been the Pharoah." Their ideas about politics were shaped by there ideas about heaven. I think its obvious that a set of spiritual beliefs or ideas about nature are going to manifest and take structure in any group of newly self conscious chimps waaayyyy before any political structure is even fantisized about lolol. Idk I just strongly dislike any type of downplay of our ancient families and cultures of whom we stand on the foundations of. What would you do in the name of the truth? Do you think what he is saying is the truth? Would you declare with a shout that their spirituality is just a dream during one of Tutankamuns speeches, in front of them? Thank you for sparing me the hour and 19 minutes of watching this. I was wary when it showed “university of California” produced it. Not a slant against Californians, just the colleges there seem to be largely out of touch and tend to believe their horse is a head taller than others’. And, being of a Christian background, but one with open eyes and on a true spiritual quest, I’d say the frame of reference was needed to begin again after the heights of Egypt had fallen after the Ptolemys. Who’s to say Christianity isn’t a retelling of some of the same stories and myths written down in ancient Egypt, just with a frame of reference that those of the day could understand? We have to remember that by the time of Christianity’s beginnings it had already been the same 2,000-2500 years and more since the fall of Egypt, just as it has been for us looking back at the days of Christ. They didn’t have the internet, let alone books like we know today. Stories and myths were the way they passed along information and likenesses. Imho, and others agree, Christianity stories have likenesses and commonalities in Egyptian lore. And it definitely proves how spiritual and esoteric in nature ancient Egyptians were. Symbolism was magick. And everything had symbolic meaning. Thanks again for the critique. This world truly does have its principles backwards. For instance, "Allow everyone to have their beliefs!" Is dead wrong. That's very close to saying "Withhold the truth from someone if their beliefs don't align." If someone holds a certain belief, and you know the truth, and especially if you have demonstrable proof, it is actually evil to withhold that truth from them simply to spare them the grief they may experience due to their paradigm being shattered. Egyptians are one of only many chasing immortality both here and in the next life. Most don’t know however that it is a dream. Weather we believe or not, we all have immortality. When the body dies, we, our spirit, our personality and all our memories go with us to the spirit world. ( what religion calls heaven) There is no Hell, if we deserve Hell, we are judged and eliminated. The majority are re-educated in the spirit world and reborn until we are good enough to remain in the spirit world. Go to any good medium ant you can connect with the departed. @@patriley1026 hi pat. I used to think that too. But if you research it, with an open mind, you will find plenty of evidence. One such is The University of Virginia, school of Psychiatry has been studying near death experiences for fifty years and say it definitely exists. You can view their research. There are many real(most are fakes) mediums who can talk to the spirits, I have a good friend who does so. There are also many children who have been proved their reincarnation. But I’m sure you won’t even try and have a closed mind on the subject. It doesn’t matter though, you will find out the truth when you pass. Most people and most of my friends dismiss it out of hand too.
