Mine just came in yesterday. As is always with KHHI blades, you expect it to be damn good, and it still surpasses expectation. I have several wakis I love from Hanbon and TrueKatana, but this is on a different level. Instantly went into my top 5 blades I own. Lighter and more nimble than I expected, honestly.

to be honest, not close enough of a fan of that design to ever pay that much for one. The grip doesn't do it for me and I wish like on my dbad War Machine, that the blade width wis increased. I would never choose that as a deployment knife.

@@DonnieBAllDay Put a new edge on the Kabar & it's good. The modified Tanto & the Kyoto II seem nice. Definitely a fan of the Sweeping Japanese Tanto vs the American Cold Steel one with 2 edges. Easier to sharpen & looks elegant.

Zorros sword is a rapier. It has a very elaborate guard and silver pins in the grip. I wouldn't do something like that Its easier to buy one already produced@@TinmansCorner

Donnie! Looking forward to your take on a classic! Wakis in my opinion are about the limit on use in a house environment for self defense as far as size goes. Hallways are a bitch with blades especially for slashes and chops Almost whacked yourself in the head.. It works great and personally I love the looks of the grips and since your hands and mine are xxl ones I know it must feel great based on how controllable it is. Great job Donnie!

Just ordered it along with the dotted panawal. i´m exited. in an other vid you said a waki and gladius are your favoured swords. i know everybody hates the wasteland gladius but you seemed to like it and i like the look . i´m a small guy, would you recommend the wasteland gladius?

@@CALO65 the wasteland is cool, but for me, it wasn't enough of a gladious. It's pretty heavy also, so i'm not sure when you say small how small you are, but it's still fun. The dotted Panawal is my favorite kukri. Great choice. The YR is awesome!
