I remember her death so well in the papers and on the news. I gave birth to my son on the Friday two days before she passed. It had a real effect on me. Another great video Paul. I have always thought that the little vestibules on small churches could leave gates open. Be nice for anyone to take shelter in this cold weather. I'm sure God wouldn't mind.

3:19 my mother was imogen's hairdresser in 1976/7 in London and was friends with her and I met her and remember her. She was stunning and even though I was young , I remember my mother doing her hair and she would leave my mother's salon looking amazing . R.I.P. imogen .please. P.S . Love your channel , Paul . I spent a while researching her a year or 2 back. A book was written about her life 'thursdays child'. She gave as good as she got, life was hard on her though as you can watch on the video. Her brother Nicholas died recently. RIP Imogen. Gone to soon. But at peace now. Great video. Thanks for posting 🙏🙏

I had visited her grave a few years ago once the new and current memorial that replaced the previously worn out one, was installed. I like this one as the inscription is very clear. She appeared over Xmas in that Carry On Loving film and my thoughts immediately turned to her resting place. What a way to end her life in the grips of depression as she and others like her, needed an intervention to help and support her through the darkness and into the light. This was my very thought when I visited her. If others like her friend Suzanne could’ve saved her, then maybe Imogen could’ve found happiness in life. Suicide is so tragic and so final, that it leaves the surviving family members and friends in pain. To all those who are depressed and experiencing suicidal thoughts, I beg you to speak to family, teacher, priest, work colleague or friends! Life is truly worth living and there is light at the end of the tunnel. There is no shame and disgrace in admitting depression. With guidance, love and support, you can see that light at the end of that dark tunnel. RIP Imogen Hassall.
