I think it's brilliant the way this show has the audience all aboard the Jimmy Train laughing at his squat cobbler story and needing to make a video...that is until Kim brings him and everyone watching down to earth by spelling out the realities of what Jimmy did.

Mark Proksch (Pryce) is hilarious, he used to pretend to be this guy named Kenny "K-Strass" Strasser and go around to local news stations and get himself on air acting like an idiot performing terrible yo-yo tricks. Good stuff!

@14:19 - because the police never excepted the stolen baseball card story as a real thing and they were trying to figure why the guy was lying . Jimmy gave them an acceptable reason why he lied and providing the video as proof would close the case.

Chicago Sunroof & Squat Cobbler were both created by the BCS writing team. There is a bonus on Blu Ray as well as on KZbin showing the actual Squat Cobbler video they made for the police. Hilarious stuff IMO. I can't help but to make comparisons with Breaking Bad. I honestly think certain parallels and reverse parallels are purposefully intended as Easter eggs. Example: In BrBa, Skyler tells Walt about Marie stealing the baby tiara. Walt wants to confess to Skyler what he does so he tests for her response "Skyler, Maria did this for family. What if it were me that did something like this?" Skyler shuts Walter down cold, letting him know he better never step out of line "You don't want to find out (what I would do to you if you did something illegal)." In this episode, we see the exact opposite. Jimmy straight up confesses to Kim that he made the cobbler video to satisfy the police. Kim flat out tells him how wrong this is and lets Jimmy know she never wants to hear about this kind of thing again. Does this seem like a BrBa / BCS connection to anyone else, or is it just me?
