Come join me on a journey to upgrade the Szarekh, the Silent King preconstructed deck and change it to support the Imotekh the Stormlord as the commander instead. I've added a restriction of 20 cards with a budget of $100.

Phyrexian altar goes infinite with imotekh and tortured existence, without the need of nim deathmantle

Great addition! Tortured Existence is by far the most synergistic card for this deck. Phyrexian Altar was just a bit over the budget but great add.

To be fair - back when this was done Krark-Clan Ironworks and Mesmeric Orb we're a lot cheaper :D

@@scocasplays6703 yeah I am new to mtg been learning coming from fab and fftcg and I'm in my late 40s built up a clues deck and dragons deck but these black discard decks are kicking my ass

You didnt remove Tomblade? Its the worst card of the deck if not of all 4 WH40K decks

Totally agree! I mention that I kept anything that remotely synergized with Imotekh. This meant that the unearth creatures stayed. If I was removing more, a lot of the unearth creatures would go but kept to my 20 cards.

What was the card you mentioned at the end? Configuration?

I mentioned Treasure Vault and Inventor's Fair. I would use a similar manabase configuration to my Fain the Broker or my Braids, Arisen Nightmare decks. Both I've done videos on.

It is more of a combo card but works great in the deck with the necron tokens! With Grinding Station's recent spike I think it would be a good swap for sure or another addition.
