This definitely feels more like "wow! Artifact combos are really good!" and kinda tacks that onto the commander being a good tool to enable them. Regardless, the necron deck had fun themes and this feels like an awesome continuation to that.

Absolutely love this deck I’ve been playing it for a while and one of my fav cards in it is Whisper Blood Liturgist such insane value with your commander our it’s basically a free reanimate

You missed adding Scraphead Scrounger, Phyrexian Reclamation/ Tortured Existence and the fun combo with Necropotence. A bit expensive but you can overpay and discard artifacts to trigger necro and get two tokens per artifact that leaves the graveyard. Suddenly you got a huge army. There are more but that is just some examples.

Tortured existence has to leave the game at the same turn it enters xD If you combine that stuff with Unwindig clock and cards like gilded Lotus, the tokens will go BRRRRRRRRRRRRR

often overlooked is the Nim Deathmantle/Ashnod's Altar/Su-Chi infinite combo, I think because Su-Chi is so old add in any one of the aristocrat cards mentioned or even Disciple of the Vault and that,s game if they cant stop it. Also Salvage Titan is actually pretty good in Imotekh, chiefly for the alternate casting cost but exiling artifacts from your graveyard still triggers Imotekh's first ability and a free 6/4 is pretty nice even if its otherwise vanilla

It is obviously very easy to make this a very powerful deck with infinite combos, but I deliberately depowered the deck by removing KCI, Deathmantle, Bolas citadel, etc. Partially because my local meta can be a bit more casual but also because I hate going through the motions for cards like KCI and citadel without having a deterministic combo. I built a more go wide aggro artifacts theme for the deck. I have cards like scrapheap scrounger, razorlash transmogrant, clay champion, volraths stronghold, phyrexian unlife and Tortured existence to make a super wide board and pump them with chief of the foundry, steeloverseer or cranial plating to beat faces to a pulp

The moment I saw this spoiled I wanted it for my Greasefang deck. It just does some real WORK in it, buffs the vehicles and gives me more creatures to crew them with.

Imotekh + Mikaeus the Unhallowed are a really gross combo since all your artifact creatures get undying and every time they die, they come right back stronger and trigger Imotekh

don't forget to add Cauldron of Souls, the persist and undying cancel each other out so the returning creature has no counters on it so you can keep looping, add Dross Scorpion to untap the cauldron and go infinite

Solemn Simulacrum is absurd with Imoketh's resurrection and recursion gameplan. Solemn almost feels like my commander some games, because it's an amazing engine by itself

I would argue that Trazyn the Infinite is a much better commander from 40k. It's super easy to go infinite with him. Game over if your opponents don't counter Buried Alive. Also in your deck for Imotekh I can't help but notice you didn't mention Tortured Existence. Tortured Existence is extremely good in any Imotekh deck and I believe it's under $2. With Imotekh on the battlefield, it's an enchantment that basically says B: create 2 2/2 Necron tokens. Definitely look it up

I’m definitely going to add tortured existence to the deck Ty! Also I kinda think trazyn and imotekh are closer in power than people think just because of the tokens and the value we can generate from them plus having trazyn in the command zone makes you a target from the start of the game.

I think the problem is tho everyone knows he combos with a sandwich and he will never resolve or gets blown up instantly, or you arch enemy just for playing him. Sorta like the tergrid effect people are not gonna let you do anything.

Just today I put Cranial Plating on Marionette Master while playing this deck. The Instant speed equip catches a lot of people.

@@decktechsfordecks Yeah, a player cast a semi-boardwipe (All creatures get -2/-2.) and killed 6 of my Necron tokens. Marionette Master’s power was 12 and 6 artifacts went to the grave yard.

the "one or more" is why I don't think he is broken. You have to trigger those effects on other players turns to really gain something out of Imotekh

The one or more only limits if you reanimate more than one at a time like casting a mass Reanimation spell he’d only trigger once that doesn’t mean we can’t trigger his ability multiple times a turn. That’s why most the recursion in the deck is a single target trigger like myr retriever and scrap trawler say we keep casting and sacrificing these two cards over and over each one targeting the other he will trigger every time one of them leaves your graveyard and gets put into your hand. I hope I explained that well.

I upgraded this deck & I’m still new to mtg but I’ve added things like dictate of Erebos so when I’m sacking these creatures my opponents have to sacrifice one as well but it’s hard when I’m milling & that enchantment gets into the graveyard with no return

True but him being your commander makes you a huge target people will hold up counter spells for you and the cost difference is substantial I feel like he’s better in the 99 you can cast him and win out of no where. That’s just my opinion tho plus imotekh gives you the option to win through combat.

I just feel like he gives you more value as a whole card draw is super easy due to the tokens we create. Ramp is super easy for the same reason as mentioned in the video you can run iron works and ashnods alter so that gives you options for going infinite of which the deck has many. You have to set Trazyn up to win and your opponents know what you’re going to do from the start of the game. But that’s just my opinion feel free to disagree and thank you for watching the video!!

@@decktechsfordecks i have a trazyn deck i built and the thing is your opponent HAVE to hold up counter spell or banish your grave, and as soon as the blue guys arent holding up blue mana you paly trazyn and win. its honestly too strong unless your playing 3 blue decks with max counter spells

Tortured existence is definitely a good include had no idea it existed before people started recommending it mostly didn’t include altar because of the price but definitely amazing in the deck if you have a copy or don’t mind the budget. Necropotance is also amazing if you wanna throw that in there you’d create a massive army off the discard and definitely draw into your combo!!

medallion is definitely a better option I wouldn’t say I missed it though. I kinda just like the idea of playing with my janky artifacts not to mention while I’m sacrificing him and recurring him I’ll be making necron warriors while jet medallion kinda just sits there. @@decktechsfordecks sits there and discounts every black spell by 1, you can get a played one in the 20s. I really hate having to do a backflip, a twist, call my senator, and say a prayer to god to get an effect, that necron was one of the very first things i cut, way too many requirements for a basic. You gotta do what makes you happy, if you really like that necron who am i to say, but man that is a lot of work for one land per turn, and only if you do damage with him, while medallion reduces every black spell you play. Happy shuffling!

I honestly thing for consistency purposes imotekh is the better commander everyone will know what you’re planning to do with trazyn. Plus you can’t ignore the value you can get off the tokens in this deck you can even include him in the deck like I did it makes for a sneakier route but that’s just my opinion.

Power level wise I feel like he’s behind a lot of them. I mean magus is in that precon and she goes infinite with any tutor x spell so I don’t think he’s even the most broken in the deck.

@@decktechsfordecks the fact that he's the most expensive legendary say something.. he have some of the most disgusting combo you can imagine like repercussion + chandra incenerator, intruder alert + pinghers, norin + impact tremors.. he cost 3 and protect himself with ward 2.. he transform fury and pyrokinesis in deal 4 damages to 4 creatures for free, shiet like and the festivities end up 1 mana 3 damage to everything bout you, he draw 2 milions card per turn with curiosity and tandem lookout, constant boardwipes, 10+ bolt every turn cycle... but yes its not strong whatsoever...
