great. i found this method in several places and all gave me without option to share, it even has no audio. cant save and seems apple knows! i tried to update, apple shows its the most current? funny? any update? I used to work a lot in Final Cut Pro, but the version I have of that program won't run on my current Mac and I can't buy the version intended for El Capitan. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. If I may make a request, of all the different vids I have seen I prefer yours. Now the request, an actual beginners tutorial, and when I say beginner I mean baby in diapers beginner. As in my own career I know that learning the very basics is fundamental to learning an entire trade. A tutorial for the person like me that just got their first laptop for the purpose of creating movies as a new hobby. Also I have the black starred version since I seen on a couple of vids that the current version has less features since Apple is pushing final cut pro which is not free so I downloaded the previous version. I would bet my left nut a tutorial for "dummies" would be a big draw. Just a suggestion I enjoy your work, and yes I need some help. Thanks

Hi Mike. I am potting together a documentary for a football team and each player has sent me videos to insert/edit. Problem is that some of them are portrait size, other landscape. Obviously landscape is best. I have changed some with crop/Ken Burns, but on some it doesn't work, the face is too big! I want to use the "blur' device on each side of the portrait size letter-box. How do I do that on 9.0.9?
