The session of our weekly series Civil Society and Ukrainian Resilience held on Friday, April 5, dedicated to War impact on Families
The war caused demographic crisis in Ukraine - different sources state that from 6 to 9 million people fled from war outside of Ukraine. The impact on families is huge, women with children are able to leave the country and compile the majority of migrants from Ukraine. Meanwhile the men are either fighting at the frontlines or stay in their hometowns.
We will discuss the impact that war has on Ukrainian families with our speakers:
• Iryna Mazur, Vice President, Ukrainian Federation of America (UFA) | Українська Федерація Америки (УФА)
• Svitlana Zaluzhna, Founder, Open Nation NGO
Moderator:
