Jeff Loomis and Kiko Loureiro are the best "new" guitarists the last 20 years. Amazing technique, feel and command of the instrument.

I agree with Jeff, really good questions. It's refreshing to hear the best of the best tell their philosophies and past learnings, and even slight regrets. Let's go new solo and Conquering Dystopia albums!

Man great questions and patient interviewer. Glad he gave Jeff the time to fully answer his questions. Love to see more of these from great artist ie Michael Amott, Phil Anselmo, Nick Barker, Amon Amarth, In Flames & so many more. Keep up the great interviews.

I have stuck by this guy for years and years!!! I even drove 12 hours to see Nevermore... He is the reason i play a 7. Now to listen to him I have to listen to Arch Enemy? No thanks
@zyd5677 жыл бұрын
He hasn't recorded any album with Arch yet, so you don't have to listen to them to be listening to Jeff

Jeff is a cook. That's cool. Maybe he can whip up a guitar shaped Arch Enemy cake for the band to share after a gig. 😁 Cool dude!

That’s cool that is happy in Arch Enemy and all but I feel he is wasting his talent in that band. All the things we said wants to learn and do. Drop that band and do it man.

Arch Enemy is OK, but Nevermore was godlike. Too bad Warrel Dane died. They almost reunited.

Girls sing on your albums is for me, NO. I do NOT SUPPORT. Imagin JASON BECKER had a girl singing on the PERPETUAL BURN album. Then he would be in the BUCKET THRASH.

Jeff’s great. And Nevermore is one of the greatest metal bands. One thing: KISS released Lick It Up in 1983, so he’d have attended one of those shows that year or the next. It was first concert experience, as well. I saw the group’s stop in Toronto at Maple Leaf Gardens (RIP). Anyway, it’s such a shame Warrell’s gone. And although I dig Arch Enemy, I’d like to one day see Loomis form another band of his own. He’s too strong a creative force.
