Met Jeff on a bar 9 yrs ago. Incredibly nice guy. Really calm spirit type of guy :) Very patient because we had a ''fanboy'' with us but he still made us feel like one of them. Show was 10/10! Edit: I just realized he's going to turn 50 this year?! He looks great!

I want to thank you Jeff for putting such a personal "stamp" on your sound/tone and musical identity.....it's immediately recognizable....fresh and always dark. One of my friends introduced me to Nevermore in 1999. Jeff Loomis has been one of my favorite guitarists since then. He has greatly influenced my playing and song composition. Thank you Jeff for years of enjoyment.

Jeff and Michael Amott are for me THE most inspiring guitarists over many many years! Because of him, I tried out Sevenstrings many years ago and that and his constant output of great stuff pushed me and my playing to another level and it still does! And you can see in every Interview or in this video, he is a super cool down to earth guy!

I love unusual metal, for me it's just an outlet, as for a person with a certain musical education it is an incomparable pleasure to watch the birth of something unusual, original and extraordinary on the metal scene. I can hardly think of bands that have influenced my tastes more than Nevermore, for example. And the most beautiful thing about metal is that the vast majority of talented virtuoso musicians are pleasant, tactful, positive people. This destroys literally all ancient stereotypes about metal. Thank you Jeff, your work has greatly influenced me and the music has supported me in many difficult life situations.
