Love the gold Brake?? Don't listen to any naysayers, my 308 rocks out to a 1000 with a 419 brake, 155gr Scenar L bullets, lapua Palma brass, with 43.7gr of viht N140. Following with interest, crack on!!

True, but BC, weight, twist rate and a good understanding of transonic performance are so crucial for that distance, and of course, access to a 1200yd (or more) range.

Great to see the .308 getting space in your videos. It might not be the flavour of the month against the PRCs & needs moors, but if you want to learn how to shoot, it's one of the best. You will learn how to read wind as natural as eating ice cream 😂. Maybes there hope yet that you will run a 6.5x55 Swedish. It's a great round and sadly pushed to the side. I think I sad it before, my 6.5x55 Swedish, Tikka t3x, 20" varmint barrel, 50g N560, SMK 130g doesn't go subsonic until it passes 1200mtrs. Come on, that's cool!❤😂

Question on the BAT action. Does it share treads with any other action? For pre fit barrels. Could you get a pre fit for a 737R, Defiance, Tikka etc ? I want a BAT action but can’t find a whole lot of options for pre fit barrels.

Very very nice! if your going retro though, you need to rewind the clock to when breaks are for magnums or pussy's lol. Schmidt & bender was the main premium scope of choice and Mcmillan stocks were the fav.

Might not be legal. For Tac division in PRS you can’t exceed 2800 ft/sec and your bullet had to be between 168 and 176 grains. Kinda silly tbh

I've tried and tested both extensively, and find the velocity more constant (lower sd's) with Palma. Makes a real difference at distance. And if you want even more consistency, HBN your bullets 👍
