He did get injured doing that spot though, he hurt his back upon landing and he did end up taking a couple months off not too long after this presumably to heal from it.

I'm not sure if 11:30 is strictly the most painful or dangerous bump I've ever seen, it's up there for sure, but it's absolutely the stupidest. Stuff like Mankind flying from the cage or Shane (not) going through the glass, even if that was a botch, is that whilst those bumps are still talked about today the stair jump is hardly ever mentioned apart from when people mention how utterly dumb it was.

@@ramrod1993 Should’ve put the belt on him two years earlier when he was incredibly white hot, No Surrender 06 Joe was in a non title match with Slapnuts and win, he should’ve gotten a title match or at least be added to the Sting/Jarrett match at bound for Glory instead of some filler Monsters Ball match. That was all on Vince Russo when he came back to the company at No Surrender 06, then books him like a joke of a champion a couple of years later when Joes momentum had been completely squashed.

@@Stoneman180190 couldn't agree more. Imo this match was the death of Joe. He got beat by a 46 year-old part timer and never got another title run. He should have squashed Sting. Then squashed Nash and have AJ come out and make the save, thus beginning their first feud for the WORLD TITLE
