I consider AJ the Shawn Michaels of TNA, he has been here from the start, only more fitter...and the company loves him for that....this is the persona he is trying out, and I would love to see him work it too

This Story is becoming more and more the nWo Story from back 1996. Sting = A.J. Bully is Hogan, James Storm is Lex Luger, that questioned Stings motives back then. Not a bad Thing, but we Need some great names in Aces and eights to get this Train rolling.

AJ has held every title that company has had to offer, Rick Flair even had taken him under his wing,In real life Eddie Guerrero was said to have had a hard time dealing with the story line in WWE between him and Rey Mysterio. No one knows the amount of stress this puts on a person who has to go out there and perform this. If it's the silent treatment, he's not giving anyone the satisfaction of a response.Change is good, A n 8"s might be what he needs right now.

Considering he's been in TNA for 10 years, has had a long standing position in the main event/uppder mid-card, has been doing a good job playing multiple characters, both heel and face, and is currently changing up his character so late in his career? Yeah, I'd say that's pretty much Crow Sting.

I hear what you're saying about Kurt Angle, but that was when he was still developing. He wasn't a true main eventer IMO till he shaved his head and became serious. Even Vince came to him and was like "ok its time to stop the comedy stuff. You're an Olympic champion". And that's when he truly became a main event type guy. WWE teased Punk so many times its a shame. Just when you though the was getting pushed like in '09, they would knock him back down. Finally took that promo to get him going.

And if he doesn't want to hit that 'Legendary' Superstar status? There is a thing that's called Loyalty that a lot of Wrestlers pride far higher than anything. WWE wouldn't bring AJ to the top, WWE is sinking. What could they do with AJ? Nothing, they would book him here and there but just like everyone WWE would dry up on their storylines and AJ would be pushed down. He can excel because of TNA, he has tenure and talent, TNA is his home.

Say what you want about Batista, but he was huge at one point. In fact, when him and Cena were coming up at the same time, he was the bigger star. His biggest problem was he kept getting injured, but from 2005 to 2008 he was hugely over. He was so over when he wrestled Undertaker at WM 23, had the crowd split. That almost never happens.

And that's a good thing. You do realise that WCW had the highest ratings ever in wrestling history and was even beating out the attitude era at it's peak which is why vince bought it out because it was a threat to his company.

They're definately doing the WCW Crow Sting angle all over again but with AJ Styles. Popular wrestler turns his back on the company, disapears for a bit, comes back as a different character looked upon as the savior of the company against the evil tyranical stable.

or maybe he pushed them the way WCW should have? WCW had crazy talent on their roster in the mid 90's that they simply misused. Austin, HHH, Foley, Jericho, Guerrero, Benoit, and more were all guys misused there while guys like Hogan, Flair etc.. hogged the spotlight despite being past their prime.

AJ joins Aces & 8s. Feud with the Cowboy. A few month later Cowboy gets a Titleshot at Bullys Title. AJ stands by Bullys side. AJ betrays Bully and helps the Cowboy to get the Title. It turns out Hogan never really trusted Bully and AJ was allways his Backup-Plan to infiltrate Aces & 8s. That's what I predict is going to happen.

Not to mention they recycle WWE talent, as well. Outside of the Divas like Gail Kim and Mickie James that the WWE released, TNA didn't need anyone from WWE's discard pile, but they took them anyway (Luke Gallows ring a bell?) At first it made sense, with Angle, Christian, and the like; but now it is just plain stupidity. They take WWE's lower-mid card and jobbing talents and think they've hit a gold mine. Hello, there is a reason they were released (For the Most Part), wake up, TNA.

When man's heart is full of deceit. It burns up, dies. And a dark shadows falls over his soul. From the ashes of a once great man, has risen a curse. A wrong that must be righted. We look to the skies for a vindicator, Someone to strike fear into the black hearts of the sane man who created him.The battle between good, and evil has begun.Against an army of shadows, lies the dark warrior. The prevail of good. With a voice of silence...And a mission of justice. This is Sting.

The majority of those guys were already established stars before entering WWE. Also, while they did get good pushes, if you notice none of them were pushed all the way to the top of the company. Look how long it took Geurerro for example to win a world title. Same thing with Benoit. Hell, RVD got his world title push 5 years too late. The Road Warriors were shells of their former selves by the time they got to WWE, same thing with Flair. Vince did in fact make Mick Foley's most famous character.

WTF??? You don't know what WWE would do with him. Then he would be an Extremely Talented wrestler who isn't really well-known to the mainstream world where it really counts, when he truly deserves it. The other "AJ" AJ Lee hasn't really been wrestling for that long and SHE is even way more popular than AJ Styles. Which is pretty sad tbh cuz Styles been wrestling for over a decade now. Just hope he doesn't waste his career in TNA. Especially with Hogan around there.

Understandable. But you know, Daniel Bryan was World Champion around this time last year. Also you know not everything has to be a serious character in Wrestling. Look at Kurt Angle he was a goofy character in the late 90's/early 00's and he had major success doing that. KOTR winner, 3-Time WWE Champion, Intercontinental/European titles simultaneously. CM Punk is an ROH made guy but I heard the reason for his major push was cuz he was doing commentary for a lil bit. No lie. lol

Also guys move up and down the Main Event to mid-cards all the time. You have to give other guys a shot. You're not gonna stay top of the main event all the time.
