I loved TNA back in the day, around 2007 to 2011 I watched it every week. But I remember all this when Bischoff and Hogan came in to run the show and I knew myself it was going to be ruined. Every so often from like 2012-13, I watched the show, but it had a different vibe to the show than what originally was; it was hard for me to sit down and watch for two hours. Sting and Nash were more right than I ever thought back then as a kid watching this. I’ll still be a fan forever though for the old TNA days for sure.

@miroslavtomic70384 жыл бұрын
Well, all of us who were fans of WCW know very well it wasn't Bischoff's fault that WCW went out of business. It was Vince Russo and Ed Ferrara that drove WCW out of business, starting with making Hogan and Bischoff leave WCW in November 2000 after real life issues with Russo. In the dying days of WCW, Bischoff actually tried to buy and save WCW from going out of business, with the help of Fusient Media Ventures, but when TNA cancelled all wrestling from their programming, they had to give up on the idea as without big TV deal WCW was worthless.

Remember this live at the time when I was a kid. I grew up way after WCW had been and gone. Now knowing what happened back then and looking on the “Immortal” era of TNA, it’s ironic cause what Nash said was exactly right. TNA was almost like the “Attitude era” alternative to the kid friendly PG WWE of the time and I absolutely loved it, and then I remember being genuinely upset at Jeff Hardy’s heel turn and the beginning of this stable. Oh, what could’ve been...

did you watch old wcw shows from the nWo era? I remember, that as a kid, without internet, and gossip sites, it was really a week-to week awesomeness. nWo was so raw, it was so cool, and so hated, we all rooted for Sting. And besides this, they had the best mid-card matches with folks like Mysterio, Kidman, Jericho, Eddie Guerrero (all been signed from ECW), Malenko, Juventud Gerrera, so on... even with Alex Wright and Disco Inferno. So much talent. So the whole monday Nitro shows were absolutely perfect, but only until like 1998-1999..

The shame here is that TNA at the time ironically thought this dominant faction storyline was the way to go despite the obvious repeat of history it was destined to be. At the end of the day. It would of been cool to see the old guys be leaders of the new guys. Maybe leaders of a new NWO, a Wolfpack, a new Ravens flock, a new LWO led by Chavo, maybe a little DX here and there, a little Kliq here and there, but all with new talent, showcasing true wrestling and very little interferences like the NWO used to do. We all love that Old School wrestling and entertainment from the 90$, but to see the older guys actually managing the younger guys and seeing the older guys having office story lines would of been funny. "I love TNA!!!", I do to Stinger just not this crappy WCW regurgitated wrestling brand. Rather unfortunate cause I used to like WCW till Russo got his hands on it and buried it.
