I had found Bdubs through ZombieCleo’s 3rd life series. My husband and I became huge fans. Just last week we lost our own daughter, Daisy, at 24 weeks and 3 days gestation. Throughout my pregnancy, I’ve been trying to catch up on this podcast as it has brought me comfort and joy. Odd timing that I was only a couple episodes short from this Bdubs episode where he talks about his own experience of losing a precious daughter. Obviously the episode got to my husband and I, but we feel just a little more hopeful that when we are ready, we can flip the narrative to celebrate and love her. I’m thankful for this episode, and that Bdubs is willing to be so vulnerable by sharing his daughter’s story. ♥️

The strongest people are those who turn adversity into drive. The Bdubs' and Scar's of the world who are faced with such tremendous adversity and see it not as an obstacle but as a motivator to put as much good into the world as possible. It is beyond inspiring to me to see someone like Bdubs turn what for some would be the most devastating tragedy into a life defining mission to keep moving forward. I cannot express enough how grateful and lucky I am to have role models like Bdubs. @Skizz you said you are seeing a new side of Bdubs today and I want to challenge that a bit. I think the fire that this trauma instilled in him is very evident in every recording. I think it's clear that his passion and drive show through every time he sits down to make content. Now we just have the privilege to see the source of that passion.

I still remember when Bdubs posted the "Pray for BDubs" video about his daughter. I watched it immediately, and I cried almost throughout the entire thing. Listening to BDubs recount part of that story today brought back those memories (and some of those tears), and it serves as a good reminder to me of how the most tragic things we can go through can help to make us stronger if we just keep going and come out the other side. I especially loved today how he said that he didn't want the memory of his daughter to be the reason he quit doing this... I've looked up to him and now I look up to him even more. This is my first Imp and Skizz Podcast to watch, but I'm so very glad I did. I'm a 46 year old woman who has felt lost my entire life. I'm single, no kids, and unable to work for a variety of reasons. But just at the end of last year I was finally given a solid diagnosis of ADHD, and put on ADHD meds for the first time in my life. As my Mother has said, I just never found my feet, so to speak. But now I finally feel like maybe I can figure out what to do with my life. I've also been a lifelong PC gamer. Or rather, lifelong if you consider I didn't have access to a computer until I was a teenager. 😅 Gaming has always been my escape from reality. I've done a bit of streaming and video making in the past. But now I'm trying to take up streaming more often. Dunno if I'll ever gain any kind of an audience, but it gives me something to do, and a platform to talk to people. I guess what I'm saying is I can relate to so many of the things you guys talked about, especially as you're close to my age. I love all three of you guys, and have watched a lot of your content. But now I love all you guys even more. Thanks for sharing your stories, and giving someone like me some insight and inspiration for where I might want to take my own path. 💜

I recently stumbled across the "Why Pray for Bdubs?" video he posted about the tragic circumstances with his third daughter. Having two children myself, I can't even imagine how hard that time was for him. It's incredible that he was able to find his way back, and after learning about that part of his life I came to appreciate his content even more. A new Bdubs video is an event for me.

man listening to Bdubs get real about life was amazing. I love seeing the curtan get pulled back. Its great to see that you are real people and have the same struggles we have.

Thank you Bdubs for the open and vulnerable discussion! Some people seem like they would rather die than actually just talk about what is real to their experience but I think it's so important especially in the social media world where it seems like everyone puts on a facade of the life highlight reel.

I didn’t expect to watch this episode and cry. I’ve gone through losing a child early, and bdubs is spot on as soon as see the pregnancy test, you know that child is yours and you instantly fall in love with everything it is and everything it has the potential to be. And when that future is cut short it is so tough. I proud of you bdubs for getting through that segment and for keeping it in the video. And skizz handled it beautifully, so caring and tactful. Thanks for sharing your story.

The way bdubs is angled towards them on the couch and impulse’s mic arm makes it seem like it’s attached to bdubs’ mic as well. It makes it seem like he’s really there. I appreciate the effort ❤

Bdubs is incredibly artistic and entertaining to watch and worth subbing to for his creativity and unique humor, but the wild thing is hes also such a genuine dude and role model when hes outside of playing a character especially with what hes been through- truly deserves a lot of subs but also a lot of genuine respect

Thrilled to see BDubs on the podcast, he's just such an amazing guy, makes people smile and laugh and does it so effortlessly. I discovered him during one of the worst times in my life and his personality kept me sane in that horrible time. Thanks for having him on, and for doing what you do. I love seeing the topics you guys choose to talk about, and the way you are just genuine regular people in your episodes. Keep it up!

I love the set-up that BDubs had, he was making eye contact with both Imp and Skizz when speaking to them and also eye contact with the camera. That is true craftsmanship.

this episode has got to be top favorite so far. i got so pulled in with what value the entire discussion that transpired had, more than i expected to. it's almost 12 am right now in our contry and boy did this get me thinking so deep about life, my relationships with the people around me, and just what i've been doing. i applaud the "finding a balance" part because it evidently shows in bdubs character how much it shaped him to become the admirable person he is to his family, friends, and community. like just wow. moreover, (writing and editing this as i watch the episode, sorry) i'm just so awestruck how honest and vulnerable this episode was. i did not know this much information about bdubs an hour ago, and it truly made me respect him more than i already do. the way he has traversed life until now, obviously not without hardship, is so inspiring. how can a man be this strong and take on such a concrete perspective in life? i could never be 1/4 the person bdubs is. what a great man, really. loved this guest episode. cheers to life. ❣️

Thank you, BDubs, for opening up, making yourself so vulnerable & sharing your family's story with us. Didn't expect to cry in the gym today, but grateful for it. Been where you are.

Amazing start of the year with Bdubs. He took us on a journey, opened up about hard parts of his life gave us life lessons, career insights and laughter. He's such a humble guy but has this "I am perfect" humor that clearly is self-deprecating, so funny. He's very entertaining and not just his personality but also his editing and content. His builds are awe-inspiring... I should add more praise to make him more uncomfortable lol. Excited for part 2

As a now 25 year old, with 2 children it is very surreal to me that I started watching Bdubs when he was still relatively small. Minecraft was my favorite thing at the time but I'm also grateful to him because he introduced me to the NBA through his old NBA 2K playthroughs. The way he brought his energy to every game he played, just remembering it feels like it was yesterday watching them but it was nearly 8 years ago at this point. He truly is a generational talent and I'm so glad to be a fan of his

I always love watching these guest podcasts because not only do I just love the banter, it always reminds us of just how human these creators are. And that's something a lot of people tend to forget. It's good to listen to these and remind ourselves that these are real people behind the screen

B-Dubs, my heart breaks for you. Thank you for sharing your experiences and your struggles. It resonates so strongly with me, as my wife and I had a similar experience. I really get what you and Skizz were saying about guilt as a content creator too, and I struggle with it a lot. You guys are awesome.

came in here for the laughs but leaving with so much tears 😭 the way he talks about his struggles juggling content creation and his family was something I never expected of him being one of the funniest youtuber out there. Bdubs is such an admirable family guy, huge respect to this man. 🙌

I gravitate towards the technical Minecraft players, and it’s through their admiration that I was introduced to Bdubs. Most recently I recall Doc declaring that Bdubs is “on another level”. Couldn’t agree more. Thank you Bdubs for sharing so openly. Thank you Imp and Skizz for creating this space.

I loved BDubs personality before this podcast, but I admire him so much more for being so vulnerable with his grief. People who have experienced such trauma and go on to create light and laughter for others are the most incredible souls.

I was watching Bdubs do his family vlogs when he was going through the entire process with his daughter that passed. It was incredibly heartbreaking and moving. To see him show back up after going through that was inspirational and I think of it often. I lost my fiancee to cancer about a decade ago and I know how helpless one can feel. To anyone that thinks they are at their lowest, know that the rollercoaster eventually goes back up. Keep going.

This is why I love this podcast, you guys, and your community. You don’t see this level of realism and character strength anywhere else. Bdubs is an absolute treasure of a human being, and I’m so glad you guys got to talk on this level. Thanks for the podcast guys, it’s a perfect way to finish off my winter break 🤍 Also, this is my first time seeing BDubs face and I’m shocked, but his voice does fit his face. 37:30 Learning to step away 56:30 Valleys in Content Creation The stories in this episode were so raw and vulnerable and I’m so grateful that you shared them Bdubs. ❤

If you watch his videos, when he has a sponsor, he usually records himself at home doing silly things irl and tying them into the commercial... Some of the most entertaining commercials ever made. 🙂
