You can tell Clinton gets nervous with the Monica question. He starts stuttering and said "on the weekends " 4 times in a row. We get it Bill 🙄.

Clinton may have been scared, but don’t forget he’s a Yale trained lawyer and a Rhodes scholar. He was very deliberately crafting a narrative and planting the idea that any interaction would have been outside of standard business hours.

I honestly can’t see Clive here. I stare at his eyes and I honestly cannot see him through the makeup. That’s amazing.

It seems light bulbs in the 90s were not so bright that's why the scenes on this show are all dark.

Of course he doesn’t think that he sexually harassed anyone. If a woman isn’t screaming and fighting him off, he doesn’t consider it to be harassment.

This is my favorite scene from the series so far...his acting is so brilliant you forget it’s Clive Owen entirely... He absolutely DISAPPEARED into the role ! The charisma mixed with nervous was perfection !

@@julianbluefeather8491 Besides being a terrible person & being a democrat, Clinton was a pretty effective & solid president, NAFTA was undoing an awful trade deal. On the other hand, FDR & LBJ were terrible presidents, JFK was not.

He WAS charged with perjury along with a bunch of other crimes. The trial went to the Senate, which was Democrat-controlled, so he was found not guilty. Just like when Trump was impeached and the Republican-controlled Senate found him not guilty. And now you have the Biden impeachment inquiry. Thanks to the precedent set by Republicans in 1997, every party now tries to impeach their opposition.
