The voice acting in this is phenomenal. If you close your eyes or look away the voice is just....it goes beyond imitation. Ann's voice is so distinctive that everyone, I'm sure, has their own imitation of it but this is just...it sounds JUST like her. Physically speaking, Colbie doesn't look like her much which to me doesn't matter. I always judge by an actor's ability to capture a person's essence..mannerisms. voice. And the voice is just incredibly spot on. Bravo. This made me want to see the show.

Cobie’s portrayal of Ann Coulter, in my opinion, was phenomenal. Prior to watching this, I (obviously) would always picture Robin Scherbatsky when I would hear Cobie’s name. Since playing this, I think of her as Robin AND also (unfortunately) as Ann Coulter. To me, that’s what good acting is. If you’re an actor and are able to make people associate you with more than just the role they first saw you in, you’re a good actor.
