You could also show how the source impedance dissipates more energy when the load impedance is less than the source impedance.

Thanks for the great explanation. I would be grateful if I could get the Excel sheet. I'm interested in how you are able to vary value thereby changing graph characteristics

Hi, thanks for the comment. I have just uploaded the spreadsheet and you can now download it from here:- 1drv.ms/f/c/10f323cd9840b5df/EknQIwciMO1NnKcfaTDeZZQBiHeleHQV0ED1RoaRtsEXzw?e=HF4PbV

hi, please show how to measure a laptop's headphone impedance.
@paulpkae11 ай бұрын
I may well do that. I take it you mean the output impedance of the laptop's headphone port opposed to the headphones themselves?
@electrocat911 ай бұрын
@@paulpkae That is right. I know it can change from line impedance to phone impedance, it needs to be sure it's the right one otherwise lose dynamics of sound, no-one cares this important aspect.

Another interesting aspect is that of the headphones that drain more power/current than a laptop/smartphone preamp can deliver, and is interesting to know if it's the case or not. For me right now it's about learning electronics more than the practical aspect. Thank you for the to-the-point lessons.

@@electrocat9 that should be straight forward enough to observe on a scope.

@@electrocat9 How are you defining "dynamics of sound"❓

Thank you for the comment. BTW I just watched your very touching video about "life"; a very touching message.
