After two years of guitar lessons, I started growing my hair long in PRIVATE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL against the handbook which said boys' hair wasn't supposed to touch the ears or collar. Why? Because Metal was my tribe, not Christianity, which depicts its founder as having long hair anyway. So no, pipes are no excuse for looking like the Tribe of WHAM! and Pet Shop Boys...Oh, I'm a male so my hair isn't supposed to touch my ears or collar or I will look like a woman. That's what a PENIS is for. It goes into the groupies as long as they're 18.

Bonnett was a good vocalist, and the fact the he was this short-haired guy somewhat older than the other band members was a unique shot in what otherwise was copycat hair metal. He's not even a shadow of his former self now, but this is one time when he shined. Albeit the past, I give credit where credit is due. Good job, Graham!

Not even a shadow of his former self?? 9 years later since your comment and ten or so solo albums and Msg / Alcatrazz records later Graham Bonnet stands the test of time as a Golden Statue of his incredible self and his history stands as a shadow of pride. What a load of hot nonsense to call Graham washed up. Graham sounds and performs the same. I saw him perform three times decades apart and I can tell you that each time he nailed it. Some of the hairstyles went too girly, like teasing and bleaching, but simply the absence of cutting naturally results in long hair, but Bonnet and his stupid Miami Vice wardrobe and his Army Recruiter haircut stood out like a sore thumb. He was a studio performer at best. Ronnie James Dio was right for telling Vivian Campbell to grow the Sacred-Heart-era mullet out or find another band. By Whitesnake, Campbell had grown his hair out. His replacement, Craig Goldy, had hair almost to his waist.

@@troyevitt2437Grahm was great live and had one of the best careers there is. Great album after great album. Women don't cut their hair. Short hair made him standout among the long haired hippie freaks. Who cares about a man cutting his hair? It has nothing to do with the music. I guess we shouldn't listen to Dio because of his short stature and dungeons and dragons lyrics. Miami Vice was huge in the 80's and I'm not seeing a Miami Vice wardrobe in this video. Any army recruiter would be blessed to look like Grahm Bonnet. Are you in any position to call someone girly with the way you obsess about long hair and wardrobe? I think you only like bands you are attracted to. You really were a bunch of closeted f#gs back then. You probably whacked off to DLR's assless chaps. Grahm isn't showing enough skin and curve for you.

@@mr.brenman2132 I absolutely 1,000% agree with you! However Graham gets tons of criticism for being "shouty" or "throaty." I love it! He has so much soul, but he gets a lot of flack too for the uniqueness of his timbre and approach. When I first heard him it was on Impellitteri's Stand In Line. The rasp in his voice took me a minute to get used to because of all the smooth sounding vocalists that were coming out of the woodworks at that time. So my comment is a bit subjective in that respect. Nonetheless, Graham is amazing and one of my all time favorites!

Standing like a statue waiting for the train In front of the cigarette vendor Slicking back his hair looking at the machine Reflecting like a mirror Pulling up his collar to avoid the breeze Of the oncoming bullet Taking inventory of the things he needs, He's checking out his wallet Standing before our eyes straight and tall Here comes your hero, stand in line, Straight as an arrow, stand in line The mother's son, as perfect as his pompadour A Spanish-American lover Heading from the East into West LA He has to dance La Bamba So sophisticated is the French cologne He borrowed from his father Just another pistol, waiting for someone To come and pull the trigger So let his bullet fly through the air... He'll take you home, stand in line, If you deserve him, stand in line Here comes your hero, stand in line, Straight as an arrow, stand in line That perfect stranger, stand in line IF you deserve him, stand in line Here comes your hero, stand in line, Straight as an arrow, stand in line

Here Everything's Better. I spent 4 SXSWs in Austin and shopped exclusively at H-E-B Have you seen the H-E-B meme showing Brisket as Hurricane/Emergency supply item? Only in Texas, or maybe large Ashkenazi communities, would BRISKET be an "emergency necessity", BWAHAHAHAHA!

That intro riff reminds me a lot of Yngwie Malmsteen's Fire, just with more notes. Hmm. This song kicks ass regardless.
