After two years of guitar lessons, I started growing my hair long in PRIVATE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL against the handbook which said boys' hair wasn't supposed to touch the ears or collar. Why? Because Metal was my tribe, not Christianity, which depicts its founder as having long hair anyway. So no, pipes are no excuse for looking like the Tribe of WHAM! and Pet Shop Boys...Oh, I'm a male so my hair isn't supposed to touch my ears or collar or I will look like a woman. Some of the hairstyles went too girly, like teasing and bleaching, but simply the absence of cutting naturally results in long hair, but Bonnet and his stupid Miami Vice wardrobe and his Army Recruiter haircut stood out like a sore thumb. He was a studio performer at best. Ronnie James Dio was right for telling Vivian Campbell to grow the Sacred-Heart-era mullet out or find another band. By Whitesnake, Campbell had grown his hair out. His replacement, Craig Goldy, had hair almost to his waist.

@@troyevitt2437Grahm was great live and had one of the best careers there is. Great album after great album. Women don't cut their hair. Short hair made him standout among the long haired hippie freaks. Who cares about a man cutting his hair? It has nothing to do with the music. I guess we shouldn't listen to Dio because of his short stature and dungeons and dragons lyrics. Miami Vice was huge in the 80's and I'm not seeing a Miami Vice wardrobe in this video. Any army recruiter would be blessed to look like Grahm Bonnet. Are you in any position to call someone girly with the way you obsess about long hair and wardrobe? I think you only like bands you are attracted to. You really were a bunch of closeted f#gs back then. You probably whacked off to DLR's assless chaps. @@mr.brenman2132 I absolutely 1,000% agree with you! However Graham gets tons of criticism for being "shouty" or "throaty." I love it! He has so much soul, but he gets a lot of flack too for the uniqueness of his timbre and approach. When I first heard him it was on Impellitteri's Stand In Line.
