@@KonglomeratYT I have four ideas about topics that can ruin a run: 1. Province loyalty management 2. Character loyalty management 3. Where and when to build cities (linked to 1.). 4. How to manage war exhaustion. Aka should we completely avoid levies for lengthy wars? :)

I have actually covered all of these already across various guides. The loyalties I cover on my guide on avoiding rebellions. Cities I cover in my buildings guide (I think it's that one). War exhaustion and levies I talk about in my war guide, and I think also I made a "tips" or "things I wish I knew" where I covered it.

what would you recommend for Epirus at the start? I've never had much luck with the war on Macedon but at the same time got big enough to be a possible threat to them, also i make use of Invictus for stuff like a more accessible royal marriage option so i can get more bloodlines (the base game even with dlc's limits you to 2 per character, which isn't very realistic and makes the game harder)

It really depends on your goals. I tend to take the general approach I show in my guides until I figure out what I need the most. Invictus changes a lot, or so I hear. My guides do not account for any mods, and so I do not know how much is different for you.

As epirus I try to form Alexander's empire (the starting ruler of epirus has arguably the best claim to the throne given the circumstances do to being the closest living relative of Alexander (I don't understand why he doesn't have the bloodline of Alexander trait), that and the fact he was a better ruler/general but had to deal with internal authority issues and lower supplies than the people who historically made attempts to restore Alexander's empire). For me it's an issue of economy and innovations mostly (I could not figure out a good way to make money early without preventing resource related bonuses, and I can't figure out a good selection of innovations for combat without sacrificing something in another area with the 8 starting innovations), the only other big issue is Macedonia making the tributaries to the south of epirus into client states and prioritising me over other nations they are at war with even when I'm the least powerful threat they are at war with (and to be clear, I do conquer the nation to the North of epirus when given the opportunity to do so without it messing with epirus) so all I can think of is maybe trying to create subjects so I'd have a big enough overall army to survive the war

And in invictus you can't get research from a foundry (I had issues figuring out the best buildings to use), and as Egypt as an example I've had trouble figuring out how to get enough population to allow the creation of a metropolis

Personally, if I was playing Epirus, I would start with right side oratory Legal Patronage down to Town Criers. I would go martial down to Professional Training and religious Due Process. I would also probably delete that legion because, like Macedon, Epirus is not wealthy enough to effectively sustain a legion. A levy with the discipline buff is far more affordable. I would be unconcerned with Macedon, and more concerned with Rome, as Epirus is one of Rome's earlier targets. I would try to ally them quickly, and then I don't think Macedon would matter in the long run. They will not attack if you are allied with Rome, and there are many small greeks to claim. AI Macedon usually gets their butts kicked due to Antigonid's legion early-game; so they should stagnate. This is, again, not with any mods. That mod you use adds a LOT of events and changes a lot of things that I cannot account for.

True. I could try an alliance with rome. But then they become a problem later. and I still have problems with the ai focusing on me more than the other ai controlled nations regardless of the mod, never used town criers but have used professional training (also would it be worth changing the military law to make the levy bigger or not, but with the intention of changing later) perhaps I could do something without invictus and use a smaller mod that helps with research and something to try to replace the royal marriages you can do in invictus (though it is hard to replace, the mod allows you to do royal marriages with people who are less related to the ruler but still part of the family which allows you to use character's who are less related to the ruler to slowly add more bloodline traits into the rulers family) though because of trait limits (in particular the max amount of bloodline traits) I might need a mod to compensate for that with a different mod
