Thats the part of the I:R gameplay i really enjoy,playing tall and using research min-maxing as well as using well placed forts and specialised troops to bleed out and beat much larger empires^^ papyrus,earthenware and precious metals are a must have,and i always want dyes,but they are so rare^^ Anyway nice video hightlighting the dephths of administrating your empire,from what i see in reviews,forums and reddit alot of people didnt even notice alot of the incricacies of administration of the game and are therefore pissed off. Even though i have to agree with their complaints somehow,considering what we had with EU:R and all the gamedevelopement pdox achieved with other games,i would have expected a somehwat more polished and innovated game,but it's still fun(especially MP) and i have high hopes for patches and DLC.

I actually love does priorities you are forced to do all the time. I could use my resources to min-max research by moving some citizens to a better city/province, or I could spend them on picking up another invention. I agree that there is a lot of room for improvement, but personally I'm having a lot more fun with the game than I had with vanilla Stellaris and vanilla HoI4, so I have high expectations on how this game will look after a few DLCs. I really would like to get into MP in the future, but it kind of don't work with my current IRL schedule right now but I'm defiantly checking it out when I get my summer vacation, I have really enjoyed watching the dev clash MP.

@@AterGaming stellaris man.....that basegame was trash^^ diplomacy?you could be at war or not at war with someone.... And well HoI4 is just a certain taste i guess. It's basically warfare only and its far less sandboxy than other pdox titles and thats exactly what makes it so great for some people,but for me personally not,i like my sandbox grand strategy with historical authenticity rather than accuracy.

@@-euiv-tngentoppa5562 Yeah I really prefer release Imperator over release Stellaris and HoI which makes me very excited for the future since we all know how Paradox have improved on their other games with time.

@@AterGaming Of course one could cite the -another 200 dollars and the game will be great- meme,but to be honest,i dont mind paying 10€-20€ every few months to make a game with a crazy price/hours of entertainment ratio even greater.

hello.i need a little help.do you know how the papyrus bonus research is calculated?Description is +20% bonus research points but in Technology panel the research points is not increased with 20%.

I'm not sure and I'm away from home for a couple of days so I can't check right now. But you can probably find out by studding the different in game tool tips related to research.

Did they change the way to promote pops? 4:14 Edit: Looks like they did do a change. Do I just change the province to social mobility?

Yes a lot of things have changed with the huge update that came a few months ago changing a lot of game mechanics. I'm planning to make updated guides for IR just haven't had the time for it yet but it's on my todo list.
