I LOVE these brushes and I also love this tutorial, truly inspiring! I'm at my day job right now and can't wait to get home to buy them and draw my own cups! :D Idea, if you read this: How about making glitter brushes...? I'm trying to involve my child in drawing with me and I think glitter/gold/diamond etc brushes + a tutorial like this one would do the trick!

I bought the brushes really fast and I am trying the teacup tutorial! I have a quick question. When I drop the color into the tea cups to make them something pretty and not black I keep getting black shadowing in certain areas around the edges. Yours look to be the one color only. What am I doing wrong? Thanks so much!

When you were adding the drop shadow to the tea cups, why did you change the blend mode to multiply instead of changing the color to darker gray? I have a hard time knowing how to use a blend mode or a darker version of the color I am using. Do you have a video explaining why someone would use one over the other?

I do this as a standard practice because sometimes my background is not a solid color. Plus, if I ever want to change the background color, I don't have to change the color of the shadows.

Lisa, all your art has such a consistent feel in color. But in your tutorials it seems like you "eyeball it" a lot. Is your consistently mainly because you still to the same saturation? Or do you have a particular color palette you always use?
