Loved the video and based on such an important topic . I’m late to the environment debate but we really need to look after our planet and understand more about global warming and the way we are destroying things .

Thanks, TJ. It was interesting to paint like this. A bit therapeutic even. The images made things clear. I hope for others as well. Albert

The temperature has gotten a bit cooler here. No longer 40C we dropped down to 32C, so much better for now and we've gotten a bit of rain too. Eating a banana and some cereal watching your YT video. Didn't know about Cristina Lucas, but now I'm inspired. I need to get up and pull weeds outside--a never ending chore it seems.

Thanks, CultureFan. Temperatures are always relative. It's an interesting artist, touches all sorts of sensitive issues. Be kind to the weeds. You never who invades whose territory. Albert

I have been away from your channel for a while... and happy to be back. Thanks for always bringing some inspiration ! I recently was in Istanbul, and visited both Modern (the Istanbul museum of modern art) and Arter, another modern art museum. I discovered many interesting artists there, and fell in love with Nuri Kuzucan's pieces. If you feel curious and if you don't know him yet, feel free to check his art. I am sure you would like it !

Thanks, Sinan. Welcome back again. Interesting artist you suggest. I totally get why you like him. It all looks mysterious and 3D spacious. I'll put him on my list. Albert

Thanks, Sid, but I'm unsure about what you mean. Can you fill me in? Albert

I work in an office cubicle every day, and there is so much structure, deadline, timing, rules pressure. Your art and way of seeing it is the opposite, in that sense knocking down the walls and cubicles -- it leaves you with things bleeding into each other as we are reflecting back to the memories of events. Almost like mind recalling feelings from events rather than vivid memories. And the fact that people make art like this is freeing. Thank you again.

Thanks, Sid, for coming back on this. I totally get your story, I'm not exactly a cubicle fan, more the opposite. Anyway, have a great day, and thanks for dropping by. Albert

Thank you for another great video and a new inspiration source. Could you please make a video about the work of Georgiana Houghton at some point? She was the very first abstract artist, at least 40 years before Kandinsky, Malevich, Mondrian, even before Hilma af Klint. I find her work just stunning.

Thanks, Konstantinos. Interesting suggestion: Georgiana Houghton. I looked at some artwork, and it's intriguing. I'll put her on my list. But it can take a while. Albert

Thanks, Otmar. You're right. It's a difficult or sensitive issue. Some won't appreciate it. So be it. Personally, I do realize I use lots of materials, and the majority of them are oil-based products. The computer servers where the videos are made available, are a problem as well. I try to keep it lighthearted, and the sensitive ones can read between the lines. But after seeing her artwork, I found a way to tell my story. I'm already thinking of a challenge in November. Happy painting until then. Albert
