I was so excited.I was put it on the very top of my Christmas list!! It is exactly what I was looking for, dreaming about, even praying for..and I know that is not right. I have been deciding between a full pasta maker from dough to spaghetti, mixed and extruded to your bowl OR make the PASTA DOUGH and use an Automatic roller? to get all kinds of shapes. I completely made up my mind.... THIS IS THE BEST UNIT FOR SURE...then I saw the price....AND.. One can still dream right? GOD BLESS !

Ok so I've looked everywhere and I can not find that kneading attachment. Imperia doesn't have it on their site. No ebay version has it, no amazon version has it. Where do they sell those?

Why do the pasta makers say tagliatelle is so thin like that? In Italy there is a standard to consider a fresh pasta a tagliatelle and most professional chefs would agree that it certainly is nothing like what these pasta makers say. Real tagliatelle is pretty much exactly the size they claim to be fettuccini. Both of which are very similar anyways but to move tagliatelle out of this spot and claim it at a much thinner size is wrong. They should just choose whether to call it fettuccine or tagliatelle.
