I heard this piece first time with this recording and I think that this is great. I found out that this piece was written as a celebrate of the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria in 1897. I have also listen to the original work, but I find the arrangement for organ to be more right sound for the piece. I have listen to it many times because it's a nice piece of music and very well played! 😃

There’s something in Sheen’s approach that makes me suspect he was a pupil of Douglas Lawence.

I would doubt that since he is from the uk and was assistant organist at st Thomas in New York
