I met the Veil of Maya dudes when they toured Canada with The Contortionist and Beyond the Shore, and Brandon is the sickest guy ever! He's so nice and easy to talk to! I had a good 10-15 minute talk with him about music and we passed some stories around. I've seen them twice and they never disappoint either!

Best show I've ever been to. I had never seen the members of Veil of Maya before and I was extremely early at the gig and I approached Mark (not knowing who he was) and asked him: "are you here for the ABR show" he stood there and laughed with the rest of the band.. I walked off with my friend and I said, dude that was veil of maya wasn't it? and my mate was just laughing at me :( Awkward but great show after all LOL

its interesting how in an abr concert, especially one thats in an indoors area, there is very little moshing or stage dives or wall of deaths and all that.... everyone is just there enjoying the great performance and the energy. everyone looks bored but when you're in the crowd, its better than moshing or anything
