What is multilevel realization of logic functions ? Pls say

Instead of representing a logic function with a single level of gates, such as using only AND, OR, and NOT gates, a multilevel realization involves breaking down the function into smaller sub-functions and implementing those sub-functions using intermediate logic levels before finally obtaining the desired output. There is not much difference between single level and multi level.
