Eclectus are special birds, in the wild the female will spend lots of time in their nests in the rainforest, males are the interactive ones. The male electus in the back ground is so interested. She seems shy.

Hi Jamie, question, should I always provide pellets for my birds or just give them a certain amount? I’m new to diets and really want to change my Galah’s diet as he is on all seed and only a some veggies and fruit.I love the work your doing it’s amazing, you’ve really inspired me to try harder for my bird! you should definitely watch the “perfect portion for your parrot” video from this channel. its amazing and will likely answer most of your diet questions. as well as watching most of the videos on this channel, since diet is so important practically all the videos mention it in same way.

The long term goal is to offer two meals a day. Seasonal Feeding System in the morning and our Organic Pellets in the evening. But, during diet conversion this food will need to be available much more to give your bird an opportunity to explore it and start eating it.
