Thanks so much for your video. However, I see that though the selected photos for transfer from my iPhone 14 Pro Max were taken in RAW format for best dynamic range, that the photos arrive in LR as JPG, and not RAW. I tried using the Options menu during the Share process and selected Current to avoid file conversion (and also tried Current plus the Individual option coupled with that) and both sends arrived as only JPG. Not the best way to maximize use of iPhone photos in LR or LRC. Any thoughts on this anyone? Thanks!

Try the second method where I select the images that I want import from inside of the Adobe Lightroom App. This should keep your raw files in dng while they are added into your Lightroom library.

This is disappointing - I want to import to Lightroom Classic, skipping the cloud upload because Adobe only gives 20GB

You can do this by connecting your iPhone to your computer and then importing from it as if it was a memory card. It's not hard but it does require wiring the two devices together via your USB or Lightning port.
