Import tuner challenge Review! TOKYO XTREME RACER ON THE XBOX 360

This is a review of Import tuner challenge. An absolutely terrible name hides the final Tokyo xtreme racer.

Really enjoyed this game. I like how you had to make very minor adjustments to your car to race certain wanderers. Would have been a lot of trial and error without a guide but it's great how many races are just waiting for you.

Nice review, you should also check out Street Supremacy on the PSP which is another Tokyo Xtreme Racer game.

Txr 0 and drift 2 are my favourites imho 🔥 (itc being 3rd), txr 3 has a very bad handling model, u can get used to it but its still bad and very floaty

I was today years old when I found out this was tokyo xtreme racer 4 zero was my fav when I was younger pissed I never gave this a chance and to buy the game now is crazy in price

The pal version of this game works for the NA 360. I don’t know if that helps at all. I still feel zero is the best along with 2. The thing is there is a lot of interest in this series right now. Somebody needs to capitalize on it. I’d be happy if the game was downloadable and used the same engine as the 360 import tuner.

Yeah it's $50 at this store I know I told them Fuck you! Not paying $50 for a game like it's Brand New LMAO I'm a TXR guru so I know this game front to back Genki really had a work of art but just let it go at the time just wasn't enough car enthusiast to sell it to when everyone and there Mom was on NFS Underground series because of the Fast n Furious influence. Regardless STILL not paying that much. I'd pay that much for Wangan Midnight on PS3 but this game is worth $20 -30 easily! None the less a very fun game! 💯

@@IAMEYI found it on eBay for 30 bucks and have since completed it 100%. Was awesome used the r32 the whole game and it was challenging. Used the r34 against king speed and it was a joke went back to the 32 for a challenge lol. Was a fun game tho and already miss it 😂.

@@-thebatman- dude the TXR series was and is just classic fun. First time I played it was TXR on Dreamcast then PS2 and so on. You found it for $30? I might have to follow your lead my guy. Yo! If u tech savvy you can play a PSP import which is surprisingly good the graphics are actually really nice for a port, it's called Street Supremacy. Saaaame concept. I bailed on the idea but I was gonna create a real life ROLLING GUY TEAM CAR but remembered I will need a AE86 considering the whole team had em. Never knew u my guy but the fact me and people like us played this game and still play makes us legends like Midnight Racing Team. Speaking of which bros when Midnight Club came out I legit thought it was a TXR game I was soooo wrong hahahaha

Wow the nostalgia this brings back so many memories tokyo xtreme racer 3 wasy fave out of the bunch i loved how you had to drive 1000 miles to unlock engine swaps but i believe it wasn’t available for all cars! Sometimes drive it for nothing! In the subaru sti you could swap the flat 6engine wich made it pretty fast almost unbeatable. Drift 2 was really good also but so hard to control!

I miss the live aspect of this game :( I was top 5 online in this bad boy. 2JZ AND BNR34 were the goats . Supras edged though when tuned properly .

I played it once or twice. It was just a really long time ago. There are a lot of online modes I miss. Who knew we’d end up missing this stuff years later.

Tokyo Extreme racer drift seriers you should also check out as it focuses on touge racing rather than wangan racing and has quite a few initial d references

My son and I have been trying to get better at it. I’m just so terrible at those games. I have both 1 & 2. If I can get somewhat decent at 2 I’ll review it.

@@evo-genesis2088 yeah the handling takes getting used to but with tuning and practice it can be remedied I've seen people make it look like they're playing initial arcade stage with how smooth they've gotten
