Maam please explain about balance sheet and trail balance

Trial balance is something that gets used internally within the company. It records all the closing balances of the general ledger accounts. It's not a financial statements, it's just done for internal verification of credits and debits and make sure all amounts are balanced. But, a balance sheet is an official statement of a company's assets, liabilities and equity. It is used to show the accuracy of the company's finances by checking if the assets of the company is equal to the liabilities plus equity. It has to be recorded hat the end of every financial year and will be shared externally. It is prepared in a particular format as well. I thought I would do a video, but i have a small time crunch. So i am replying to this. Sorry for the late response. Will try to make a video on this topic later.
