If that course also has waitkist u can get in but if that course has seat u can get a seat but u have to get out of the waitlist in other words u cant be in waitlist if already othwr section is registered but u can be in waitlist of 2 sections

Bro if u got admitted they u might have gotten the new student survey form you have to fill it to get your hold removed to plan your time table and register

FYI your visa is not a study permit u get a study permit once u arrive canada at airport
