IMPORTANT DG PENNY INFO! POPSHELF PENNIES & 90% OFF CLEARANCE!

I went to my local Pop Shelf to first time penny shop there . I didn’t find any penny items but i did see the 90% off fall. The workers told me that the register was ringing at 70% off and then they would take an additional 90% off of the 70%. So I got a $5 item for 15 cents. The employee told me that they needed to sell the fall merchandise because next week the Fall Harvest will go to one penny and they are NOT allowed to sell it at a penny and it cost them more to repack the merchandise and send it to the warehouse. So I guess you’ve got stores that absolutely will not sell penny items. I haven’t ever encountered that situation before. Has anyone else?

I found items but the mgr told me I could not buy so do I show the penny policy for dg or are they just an affiliation. I did not want to get into a back and forth conversation so I just left the items and bought other stuff. I am sure I saw more pennies

POpshelf Stores are a store opened by DG. Go on- line and do a search to see if there is one near you. Some states don’t have but a few built at this time.

How do you use the popshelf app? I have one but its like an hour away but its worth the drive.. but the one I have is a Dollar General Market/ Popshelf. Can you use the regular dollar general app to scan or do you have to use the Popshelf app? I've tried to use the Popshelf app but it doesn't find that Dollar General Market/ Popshelf location.😅

This video only applies to popshelf stores. It does NOT apply to all stores. Any penny item can be Your Miles May Vary, which means what pennies at one store may not be a penny at the next. Watching her video on how to penny shop will give you important information. Good Luck
