Sir, how is loss asset possible? Banks do keep mortgages, right? So in case of non repayment of loans..they can claim the asset that has been mortgaged

Banks keep collaterals, however, the collateral is generally not sufficient to cover the losses. Also, many times collateral-free loans are also given.
