Thanks for the shoutout. Looking forward to Dec 1. Im going to test this but I have a theory that there might be large exclusive monsters, like "tectecular". That monster is natually huge so I wonder if 2 large size "Suckling ocker" or "Khalamari kid" will create it or at least have a hidden offspring.

There appears to be some type of wildcard monsters as well as I have a large king bubble slime I acquired from an egg that gaurantees a large result no matter what I fuse it with

I seem to be struggling to turn my Harmour into a Large monsters. I fused him with a bunch of Drongo before I saw this update. So after this update, I fused two Large Drongos together and tried to fuse them with my Harmour, but still shows that he's a small monster. So I gotta ask, will it show that he'll be a Large monster before fusing? Or do I have to fuse them and see if he turns out Large?

what do you mean 2nd gen? i synth 2 large bongos and then with my small dragon fairy and dragon fairy turned out small????

So, I have been synthesizing my monster a bunch. Many Drongo, and he is now a very big boy. But still can't make a L size with a 2nd gen L. Do I just keep going at it with the Drongoes, or can i use a 1st gen L monster to help make him a little bigger?

My suggestion is then to Save -> Disable Auto Save in the settings - get a large Bongo Drongo, synthesise your monster and reload until the offspring shows as L with an L monster.

And now I have to wonder if this is actually true. I was finally able to turn my Harmour into a Large using Large monster from the Mole Hole and they did not need to be Gen 2.

@@HDHaZmY I synthesised a large bubble slime with a large skeleton to make a large shroomslime to help making a large dessert demon who so far has ate a lot of dongo drongo and two large monsters. But the result is still a small dessert demon. Currently considering to try if a large walking corpse work instead

@@chantadi2005 Ultimately size synthesis is RNG - you could try turning off auto save and reloading the same synthesis until it allows you to create a large one!

This is confusing with the other parts of this process... So if I wanted a Large Hunter Mech, for example... My current Hunter Mech is Small. *I would need a wild Large Monster to breed with a large-Small wild monster in order to produce a 2nd gen Large Monster? *After that, I can use the 2nd gen Large Monster to breed with my Small Hunter Mech and the result is a Large Hunter Mech?

From what I got with the video: No. You need A second generation L monster which you only get by breeding two L monsters. So two Large monsters need to be breed together, resulting in a second generation L monster. Then you need a S monster you want to breed to get a new L monster. This S monster needs to be of a bigger size (I avoid Large here as it has overlapping terms with S and L monsters but every monster has additional size categorys within beeing an S or L monster, so you have bigger and tinier S and L monsters. You then breed the big S monster and the second generation L monster to gain another L monster as the Offspring. I hope that helped.

@@Tam_Hawkins I understand you. I understand the small monster of a bigger size is from scouting, but what if you bred your way to a Hunter Mech. I don't know how this Hunter Mech is in comparison to others. He is just Small. Would I have to start over and breed nothing but Large monsters to get a Large Hunter Mech?

@@nextlvlroy I have not tried this yet, so I cannot say with 100% certainty. But it sounded for me as if you can just breed the hunter mech you have with big S sized monsters until it becommes bigger. You will then see if it is big enough when you try breeding it with the L size monster and the offsprings are shown as L size.

​@@nextlvlroyI watched this video and saw a thread about this on Reddit: On one side, you'll need to breed two Large monsters scouted in the wild to create a second-gen L monster. On the other, you'll need a Bongo Drongo and a small monster (I assume in this case, the Hunter Mech you want to be L size). You may need to repeat the process on the BD/HM side a couple times, but you'll know you have it when you go to synthesize with the Second-Gen L and the Hunter Mech results in an L size.

Sadly that is hidden - so you judge by size!

Look at the top of the screen here; 2:17 Notice how the Mad Mollusk has an S next to it's portrait, while the Putrefido has an L? That's how you tell if a monster is large or small when you're fighting one in the field. With L being Large, natch. They demonstrate large monsters in both arenas in the demo. Both times, your final opponent in the harder arena challenge has a Large monster in their team.

@@blackheartzerotheundergrou3225 OP is asking about the size of the small monsters, not whether it's Small or Large. Because there are different sizes of Small monsters and you need a big Small monster to synth into a Large monster. And there's no way to tell that stat.

@@eirmundgundnand9442 Oh, I see. In any case, for many monsters you can just tell from a glance if they're bigger or smaller than average. In the Demo, I bred a Briny Bronco as big as a house and it still classified as size S! You can see in the Circle of Capris that they get nowhere near that big.
