Hi there! So it depends on the specifications of every project. However with this particular project we will definitely use a damp proof membrane before the concrete slab is cast.

@@leroydias5075 Generally dpc for foundation footings is not a common practice, as DPC is typically used to prevent moisture from rising into walls above ground level, rather than to protect foundation below ground level. Per the specification in the structural design, we're required to do a dpm before the concrete slab is cast which will equally prevent the ingress of moisture into the building
