Narrated Ibn 'Umar: I remember ten Rakat of Nawafil from the Prophet, two Rakat before the Zuhr prayer and two after it; two Rakat after Maghrib prayer in his house, and two Rakat after 'Isha' prayer in his house, and two Rakat before the Fajr prayer and at that time nobody would enter the house of the Prophet. Hafsa told me that the Prophet (ﷺ peace and blessings be upon him) used to offer two Rakat after the call maker had made the Adhan and the day had dawned. - Bukhari 1180, Tahajud. Narrated Aisha: The Prophet (ﷺ peace and blessings be upon him) never missed four rak`at before the Zuhr prayer and two rak`at before the Fajr prayer. - Bukhari 1182, Tahajud. - Tirmidhi 424, Salat on authority of Ali. It was narrated from Aishah that: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever persists in praying twelve rak'ahs each day and night, Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, will build for him a house in Paradise: Four before Zuhr and two after Zuhr, two rak'ahs after Maghrib, two rak'ahs after Isha' and two rak'ahs of Fajr. - & 1795, Night prayer and voluntary prayer - Ibn Majah 1140, Establish Salat & Sunna - Tirmidhi 414, Salat - Nasa'i 1794 (Enter Paradise Umm Habiba - Tirmidhi 415, Salat - Nasa'i 1801, 1802 & 1803, Night prayer and voluntary prayer --- Narrated Abu Huraira: My friend (the Prophet) advised me to do three things and I shall not leave them till I die, these are: To fast three days every month, to offer the Duha prayer, and to offer witr before sleeping. - Sahih al-Bukhari 1178, Tahajud Abu Haraira (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ peace and blessings be upon him) as saying: The most excellent fast after Ramadan is Allah's month. al-Muharram, and the most excellent prayer after what is prescribed is prayer during the night. - Sahih Muslim 1163, Fasting Narrated `Abdullah bin `Amr bin Al-`As: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ peace and blessings be upon him) said to me, "O `Abdullah! Do not be like so and so who used to pray at night and then stopped the night prayer." - Bukhari 1152, Night prayer. --- Narrated `Abdullah bin `Amr bin Al-`As: The Prophet (ﷺ peace and blessings be upon him) said to me, "You fast daily all the year and pray every night all the night?" I replied in the affirmative. The Prophet (ﷺ peace and blessings be upon him) said, "If you keep on doing this, your eyes will become weak and your body will get tired. **He who fasts all the year is as he who did not fast at all. The fasting of three days (a month) will be equal to the fasting of the whole year."** I replied, "I have the power for more than this." The Prophet (ﷺ peace and blessings be upon him) said, **"Then fast like the fasting of David who used to fast on alternate days and would never flee from the battle field, on meeting the enemy."** - Bukhari 1979, Fasting Narrated `Abdullah bin `Amr: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ peace and blessings be upon him) was informed that I have said: "By Allah, I will fast all the days and pray all the nights as long as I live." On that, Allah's Messenger (ﷺ peace and blessings be upon him) asked me. "Are you the one who says: 'I will fast all the days and pray all the nights as long as I live?' " I said, "Yes, I have said it." He said, "You cannot do that. So fast (sometimes) and do not fast (sometimes). Pray and sleep. **Fast for three days a month, for the reward of a good deed is multiplied by ten time, and so the fasting of three days a month equals the fasting of a year."** I said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ peace and blessings be upon him)! I can do (fast) more than this." He said, "Fast on every third day. I said: I can do (fast) more than that, He said: **"Fast on alternate days and this was the fasting of David which is the most moderate sort of fasting."** I said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ peace and blessings be upon him)! I can do (fast) more than that." He said, **"There is nothing better than that."** - Bukhari 3418, Prophets.

There's so many fitna and misinterpretation of statements, new revert or the person who's in edge of leaving deen ( May Allah guide us ) will take the information from comments and base a philosophy on that. @@falsesectslikeshiaarejudeo6543 Shaykh Fowzan mentions the matter is easy. One can be continual in praying the Duha prayer or leave it occasionally. kzbin.info/www/bejne/i6fRe2ida7yag80 There's a number of opinions on the issue. The majority say its recommended to be continual in praying it. The Hanbali opinon say leave it occasionally. Hence Shaykh As-Shuway'ir mentioned in the clip our jurists as he generally teaches Hanbali fiqh even though his higher studies is in comparative fiqh. Allah knows best

And what is the forbidden time
@sheroo1000
@sheroo1000 2 жыл бұрын
@@nobody7249 Assalaamualaykum warahmatullaahi wabarakaatuhu. “There are times when it is forbidden to pray. They are as follows: From dawn until sunrise From sunrise until the sun has risen to the height of a spear above the horizon; nowadays this is regarded as equivalent to twelve minutes after sunrise, but to be on the safe side one should make it a quarter of an hour. When the sun is overhead at noon, until it has passed its zenith From ‘Asr prayer until sunset When the sun starts to set until it is completely set These times may be summed up more briefly as follows: From dawn until the sun has risen to the height of a spear When it is directly overhead at noon until it has passed its zenith From ‘Asr prayer until the sun has set completely. When we say from dawn, we mean that one should not offer voluntary prayers after the adhaan of Fajr except the Sunnah of Fajr. This is the view of the Hanbalis. The Shaafa’is are of the view that the prohibition has to do with Fajr prayer itself, so it is not forbidden to offer voluntary prayers between the adhaan and iqaamah, rather it is forbidden to offer voluntary prayers after offering the obligatory prayer of Fajr. This is the more correct view, but one should not offer any voluntary prayer after dawn apart from the two Sunnah rak’ahs of Fajr, because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) only prayed two brief rak’ahs after dawn had broken. See al-Sharh al-Mumti’ by Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen, 4/160.”

Where is the dalil to show that they have to be made up if missed? He did not mention any dalil from kitab or sunnah. To say a person who doesnt do sunnah rawaatib is evil is his personal opinion unless imam ahmed had dalil to back that up.

Exactly what I was thinking. I mean it's called a sunnah prayer for a reason
@mohamadbilal5769
@mohamadbilal5769 2 жыл бұрын
1. Proof from hadith to make up missed sunnah Rawaatib are many, I just can’t quote it righ now. For eg, there is a hadith The prophet peace be upon him missed Duhr sunnah and made it up after Asr(wc is forbidden time) this shows how he never left praying them even in those forbidden times. And others ahadeeth too, like he and one companion prayed Fajr together and when they finish the companion got up to pray sunnah( wc it’s known there is no sunnah after fajr ) the prophet asked what are u doin and he replied he didn’t prayed kebliya so he was gonna make it up so the prophet allowed him to do so. So ulema say it’s allowed to make up sunnah prayers due to these and other ahadeeth if they are missed with genuine reason( even in forbidden times.) (I didn’t quote the hadeeth perfectly, just tried to remember from memory, check it for better understanding). 2. As for ur 2nd Q, He said Imam Ahmed said “he is an evil person (the one who doesn’t pray sunnah rawaatib)” just to show how our salafs( pious predecessors) took the sunnah rawaatib seriously. Not that he believes the one who doesn’t pray is an evil person.(but it’s known that it’s shows weakness of Eeman)

Indeed, the disbelievers will not succeed.
