Important tips with the APP and Application of C6 Ceramics coating

Am a detail enthusiast who, for the very first time, just used a number of DIY products to prep and coat my 2010 Audi A5 convertible. I used my DA polisher along with the Gold Standard Polish and with the Gold Standard Waffle Pad to help bring out the best gloss possible on the Audi’s grey paint. Following the application of polish, I skipped using any panel prep and instead, went right to using my small hand polisher coupled with the Detail Rotary Jeweling Pad along with the all-new APP. (Adhesion Promoter Polish) Since it was alone on this project, I chose to apply the APP to the entire car prior to removing it with a Grey Pearl Towel.(s).The coating of choice was the DIY 5-year Ceramic Coating with the DIY Red Foam Applicator. The entire coating process could not have gone better. I did not encounter a single problem or concern along the way. Thanks, DIY, for creating a product line that even me, a 71-year old detailing enthusiast, can be super amazed with the end result. (*My neighbor asked, “So what did that new Audi convertible set you back?”) As a reminder, this was my 14-year old Audi….just looking brand new. Now, let’s see how these somewhat new processes and products last.

Just used APP and the 8/3 stack to coat my wife's new Wrangler. I could have used this video a few days earlier... But honestly it went just great. My issues were with the nooks and crannies of the Wrangler, not any issues with the process or product. 😊

One question about APP. I noticed a slight residue/ haze remaining after wipe-off. I went with my gut and left it. Hope I made the right call? Coating came out nice and clear in the end... ​@@C6ceramics

Yes there may be a very slight haze, it’s best to remove it, but not detrimental

Does the APP work well in conjunction with ceramic gloss to boast gloss without doing a full ceramic coat? Just wondering if it makes a difference in longevity or looks if you don’t need a full polish?

Hi, i have ordered C6 Hydro But i wonder how much to use With the diy coating i do 4 to 5 cars Do i use to to littke coating? And how long to shake the bottle?

Yes, one bottle should do 2 cars, you’re definitely not using enough. Shake for 3-5 seconds
