Little testimonial about Hydrolite. A week after applying the coating we parked under a tree to find the entire car covered in tree sap. All I had to do was presoak with incredible suds, handwash, and all the sap was gone. It literally just wiped off. Unbelievable shine too. I've used numerous coatings, professional and consumer, this is hands down the best thing I've ever had. Worth every penny!

I prefer gloss over hydrophobics, so i think i'm inclined towards the diamond gloss coating. But I had a glass ceramic coating on my windshield, and not having to use wipers was amazing. Will it still have enough hydrophobic capability to bead and sheath off water to some extent?

Thank you for another great video. I used the APP polish a couple weekends ago and it was very easy to use. Not wanting to deal with cords, I had purchased the Milwaukee palm sander as I'm already in the battery system with other tools and it worked great. Question I have for Yvan is you've mentioned removing the pad brake on palm sanders previously but it looked like in a couple videos where you were using the Milwaukee the pad brake was still on. Did you end up removing the pad brake on the Milwaukee? When I first got it, I removed the pad brake but it seemed like it was then spinning very fast since I believe you mentioned using it on speed 6. Between that and it looking like you had it on in the videos I ended up putting it back on. The APP seemed to go on just fine with it installed but would appreciate any clarification. Thanks Yvan!

We have never used the Milwaukee, but yes the pad brake needs to be removed. Remove the backing plate, there’s a black piece of plastic that rubs against it. Remove that part, then replace the backing plate.

Random questions. Which sander worked the best for the application of the app and is it necessary to wear a mask or respirator when applying the coatings? I have been wearing on for years with any coating that I apply to minimize the breathing in of vapors.

The yellow one was best. Our coatings do not use solvents with dangerous vapours. That said if you want please do.

Do you have any thoughts about anti static properties of the hydro light coating? I’m in the dust bowl and one drive ruins my wash. No one ever seems to discuss or market this feature/benefit except TW hybrid solutions detailer. It’s only mildly effective. We have a large metal car moving through wind. Does any coating address dust attraction? Thanks.

Yes, it helps, but nothing significant. Unfortunately static electricity is a force of nature.

@@C6ceramics The hydro lite has been installed, followed your method, even pick up the pad washer. As far as dust on the car, the c6 is a major improvement over waxing. Day 8 and I have not needed to wash it. Life is a lot easier now. I bought the mist product just so I have something to do on it. Thanks, great product, I regret I wasn’t able to get the diamond gloss, I wish you had a one time waiver for us part time detailers like Pan suggested. I did talk with John.
