That depends upon u. If u sincerely read, u can finish. Cutoff will be low in Tamil nadu so if u work hard enough, u have a fair chance. Reading ncert and practice is exactly what is required

Read ncert well. Half knowledge is more dangerous than not knowing. It says a lot of things. What I explained is not violating ncert. U dont know ncert well enough yet.
