I'm a year and four days since quitting and I've been feeling extremely stressed and overpowered by negative emotions, namely depression and anxiety to a severe level. I was watching people smoke Winefield Blue cigarettes which are a big one here in Australia and I happened upon RJ's channel. Suffice to say, I don't feel like a cigarette anymore. I'm only 29, and I was a heavy smoker prior to quitting. I think I'd be headed down a similar path which would leave me with 20 years left. Scary shit. Thanks RJ for recording this, you likely saved my life. RIP

I'm so sorry to hear this RJ and without seeing tomorrow's video I don't know the whole picture, so will wait until then before commenting further. The mention of a biopsy worries me, and I hope it is not what I am thinking. I smoke 3-4 cigarettes a day when I'm at work, but when at home I don't smoke any. This is because I am not addicted to the nicotine and am a smoker by choice. I hope you can cut down (not necessarily to 3-4 cigarettes per day!) and enjoy the cigarettes without the addiction. Hopefully the electronic cigarette will help.

Anyone else not understand a word he said, I turned on captions but it understood less than I did so not much help. I got bits and pieces anyway, based on the comments it's too bad he lost his fight with it. People rag on smoking a lot but smoking pure tobacco is much different than commercial cigarettes. Cigarettes are full of chemicals, pure tobacco can still be harmful but it also has medicinal purposes if used correctly. Tobacco is no different than anything your doctor might prescribe, everything has side effects and some can be fatal. Just be sure in the fight against smoking you fighting for the right reasons.
@Fractoide4 жыл бұрын
Don't kid yourself, if you spend 5 minutes researching tobacco you'll find that there's almost no difference between even organic tobacco and commercial cigarettes. Tobacco smoke AND tobacco itself cause cancer, it's not the additives that cause cancer (99% of the time). You can even get oral cancer from chewing tobacco in case you didn't know... So yeah you're mistaken, there's no such thing as healthy tobacco. Even smoking 1-4 cigs a day will dramatically increase your chances of getting lung cancer (and heart disease, to a lesser extent)
