Thank you Marcus. This is a total life saver! I hope to travel to Minho (pandemic permitting) from Wales in my Model 3 in the near future. I had looked at the charging network only to discover that I needed to be a Portuguese resident to use it, which made things very tricky. I’m signed-up to Miio now!

John Doe Good point, but it does seem that chargers are currently being added to Spain quickly. I think next year that Spain will not be an issue. Probably better going along the more populated coast than the isolated center currently.

Ricardo Aguiar Galp are installing a 100kw+ charger in Alges, Lisbon. If Galp replace their 50kw motorway chargers with 100kw we do not need Ionity. Then the race would be on 👍

@@marcusevjourney566 If. And you can't go to Algés. It would take too much time. Better take A13 and avoid Lisbon, than A15, keep to the coastline to avoid elevation. Turn around in Mira. Yap, would do a great time and show those Germans and their autobahn. Ppfffff

@@marcusevjourney566Hello Marcus, apart from our Ionity card (Mobi-E included), i´ve already ordered the Galp card (and live not that far from Algés so I will use that supercharger). Miio is now my prefered E App. Hopefully, I will receive ID.3 first next friday (it was imposed by VW Europe that all ID.3's first edition shall be delivered to the final customers until the last day of September. I´ve enjoyed (and drove near the Tejo river for half an hour the ID3) the official VW importer (owned by Porsche Holdings), launch in front of Jeronimo´s monastery. The car is simply amazing and you get the feeling that you "already knew everything" about the car (the simplest and easiest to understand car ever made - intuitive, great quality and so so silent - taller and wider than I've imagined though). Oh and the acceleration is amazing....I´ve faired even better than "TeslaBjorn 6,89s from 0 to 100Kms per hour" (forget the 7.2s pre-announced, because I´ve made 6,85s on 19 inch wheels, a time that hopefully I'll improve with my ID.3 18 inch wheels). Now I can say it out loud - "The ID.3 is amaaazing" Take care and see you soon

John Gowers I think Electromaps is the best charging app in Spain, not as user friendly as the surperior Portuguese Miio 😁 Once I get my ID.3 I will go to Spain and try a few different chargers, perhaps do a video about it. They are starting to install Ionity in Spain now also. 👍
